Meet Dr. Julie Hauser (Erie, PA)

Julie A. Hauser, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Slippery Rock University in 1982.

After completing her optometry degree, Dr. Hauser pursued additional training through a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Hauser offers full-scope optometric care, including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, and vision care tailored to each patient’s needs. With a strong clinical background and decades of experience, she is committed to helping patients see clearly and comfortably in every stage of life.

Originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hauser began her career as an emergency room nurse and also worked at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Outside of the office, she enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, spending time with loved ones, and volunteering at animal rescue shelters.
